About Hugh Foster Hall          Home

Hugh Foster Hall was built in 1915 as the Town of Milton Registry Office, on land donated to the Town of Milton by Hugh Foster. Like the town itself, the hall is a wonderful blend of old and new. Viewed from the Victoria Park at Town Hall, you can see the original limestone façade, featuring beautiful stone-framed windows. In November, 1988, the Registry Office was officially opened as Hugh Foster Hall, sporting a modern glass and steel addition which gave the hall a bright, sunny reception area.

The hall has an official maximum capacity of 60 people, and is used regularly for meetings, classes, retirement receptions and even small weddings.
The cozy atmosphere makes it a perfect substitute for a private residence for JustMiltonFolks series of “house concerts”. We hope you’ll feel both welcome and comfortable as you join us for these very special evenings of music!
